Suicidal Issues

If you or someone you know has done or is about to do something that is potentially life-threatening, CALL 911 RIGHT NOW!

This could include a wide range of behaviors such as an overdose or leaving the house with the intention to commit suicide.

If someone has called you to say goodbye, CALL 911 RIGHT NOW!

If you are having suicidal thoughts, remember: the most important thing is to continue to resist any impulse to act on these feelings. You don’t have to be alone! There are many resources available to you. For example, Suicide Prevention has a 24-hour toll-free hotline.

Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-273-TALK (8255)

If a family member, friend, or colleague has expressed suicidal thoughts or feelings – take it seriously. Suicide is often attempted “spur of the moment” and the person may not have a premeditated plan or time.

If you’re concerned about your safety or that of another, Call me.
